3rd Largest Superyacht in the World | 162.5 m of Luxury

M\Y Eclipce
Eclipse is more than just a superyacht. Measuring 533 feet (162.5 meters), its design is inspired by warships, giving the vessel clean lines and a powerful silhouette. The project was designed by renowned British designer Terence Disdale, and construction took four and a half years. Disdale describes the yacht as a "pure architectural work" and not just a stylish toy for millionaires.
Luxury and comfort on board: Eclipse accommodates up to 36 guests in 24 cabins, including 17 VIP cabins. Guests have access to a gym, a spa with a sauna and massage room, and a 15-foot swimming pool on the main deck.
A crew of 70 ensures a high level of service and safety. For transportation and entertainment, there are three support boats equipped with medical supplies and radios, and for extreme sports enthusiasts, a mini-submarine capable of diving to a depth of 50 meters.
When it was built in 2010, the Eclipse became the longest private yacht in the world. Today, it remains a symbol of engineering excellence and luxury, cruising the Caribbean, Saint Martin, Saint Barts, and, due to sanctions, currently anchored off the southern Aegean coast of Turkey — we eagerly await its return.

Eclipse can store over 100,000 gallons of fuel. The yacht’s full annual maintenance — including crew salaries, insurance, fuel, mooring, and routine upkeep — costs approximately $15–20 million.
When photographing Eclipse, I had to climb to a record-breaking height of 132 meters to fit the yacht’s entire massive hull into a single frame. This allowed me to capture the vessel’s scale, lines, and intricate details in their full glory — a true challenge for any photographer.
