Although my main work is connected with yachts, I always look for unique and interesting projects where the internal — spiritual and moral — dimension of the person and the place matters as much as the exterior.
When I met Mehmet and his Kassandra Boutique Hotel in Ölüdeniz, I immediately realized: this is a place whose story I want to tell.
Mehmet shared the story of his family: his great-grandfather relocated from Greece to Turkey in the 1920s–1930s under the terms of the Treaty of Lausanne. Their homeland was called Kassandra, and returning to Turkey became not just a move, but a return to their roots. Since then, the family has been firmly rooted in Fethiye, Ölüdeniz.

Regarding my experience photographing the hotel — it was a true pleasure. I always study a location under different lighting scenarios, so I spent many hours on the hotel grounds from dawn till night, observing how the light changes and creates unique moods. As a result, a large collection of photos and video content was produced, which I am proud of and love to share.
