Miori by the Sea — a soulful culinary journey in Göcek

This year, a new and exciting place opened in Göcek — Miori by the Sea. I was eager to visit, but before diving in myself, I wanted to observe how the restaurant would operate during the season, listen to guests’ feedback, and gather insights from those who had already experienced it.
For me, in my yacht-focused photo journeys, it is essential not just to create trendy content but to produce stories that pass through my heart and soul. I wanted to ensure that what I share is genuinely valuable and worth capturing.
When I was invited by one of the owners, Mr. Haldun, to visit, photograph, and experience the place firsthand, I gladly accepted. There is nothing more compelling than hearing a story directly from the people who created it.

I met Mr. Haldun, an architect deeply passionate about his work and a collector of art objects. He personally curated the visual concept of Miori by the Sea. His partner, Rupen, a professional yachtsman and expert in Riva yachts, brought his knowledge and love for the sea to the project.
They spent half a day showing me the space, sharing their vision, and explaining that Miori is more than just a restaurant — it’s a sanctuary where guests can relax with their soul. Every decision, from design to logistics, was made thoughtfully: fire protection measures, plans for electricity, and sustainable wastewater systems.
They take care of their staff with great diligence, bringing employees daily to this remote location, selecting each team member carefully. The food brought to Miori is always fresh and of the highest quality.

I spent several hours exploring the restaurant, photographing its unique corners, capturing special angles, and observing how the space interacts with light. I explored every perspective, paying attention to the textures, reflections, and the harmony of nature and architecture.
The Riva Lounge is particularly remarkable — designed in the style of Riva yachts, luxurious and perfectly aligned with the spirit of Göcek. Guests loved it, and my audience responded enthusiastically after I shared my visual impressions.

Miori is more than a beautiful venue; it is a thoughtful, soul-driven project that elevates the culinary and cultural landscape of Göcek. Places like this enrich the region, attract like-minded visitors, and raise the overall quality of local tourism experiences.
Miori by the Sea is a perfect example of how passion, design, and culinary excellence come together. For owners of restaurants, boutique hotels, or unique venues, I provide photography and video services that capture not just the visuals but the emotion, light, and soul of your place.
